The fans in my PSU (in sig) have stopped spinning, and the fans connected to the "fan only" molexs have also stopped (but work fine on "normal" molexs)

Any typically it's three months out of warranty.

So I'm looking for a new PSU to power the rig in my sig, I might be upgrading in September though, probably looking at around a £600-700 upgrade if I do.

I've no idea what's a good PSU these days, so looking for advise please. I don't want to spend a fortune (my current was £100  - looking to spend well under that this time) and would really like something modular.

What would you recommend?

Ta.

Reviews look good, and it sounds like it's going to be....errr....no sound! I like the idea of getting something silent.

Although....is the 80% efficiency not a little low? I'm sure my current Antec is higher than that.

Really?

I thought it was low!

Well, if it's a good rate then I guess that's looking like the one to go for, since it also seems to have top reviews elsewhere too.

Shame it costs so much...but you get what you pay for I suppose (although I'm not sure about that these days given my Antec was £100 and is faulty as soon as it's out of warranty!)

The Corsair 520 is pretty cheap these days, cheaper then my Antec which I bought last summer.

At the time the Corsair 520 was about £40 more expensive.
