my maste has this:

Seasonic X750 750W.

it's about £140-150.

can anyone weigh in suggesting if this is too expensive, and are there other psu's at 750w that are better and less money.

if not, i might have to take the plunge, as i really going to shell out on this new build.

wow!

cheers for the speedy response, not to mention the info of your reply.

well, based on what you mentioned there, i think the evga will be a great purchase.

...and saved myself £10-£15 in the process!!

i'm planning to buy some other gear as well, so if you're up for it?

if you have a spare moment and could weigh in with some purchasing advice? ;)

i'm just ordering all the gear.

Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor

Asus MAXIMUS VIII HERO ATX LGA1151 Motherboard

EVGA GeForce GTX 980 4GB Superclocked ACX 2.0 [1 i have already]

EVGA SuperNova G2 750W '80 Plus Gold' Modular Power Supply [just ordered].

NZXT H440 (Black/Red) ATX Mid Tower Case [just ordered].

Acer XB270U

i was probably looking at installing one of these for each 980 if in sli:

ARCTIC COOLING ACACC00019A Fluid Dynamic VGA Cooler, A Multi-compatible Air/Liquid Cooler for Graphic Card -GTX 980 [for noise & heat reduction].

i was gonna grab 16gb of some decent ram, too.
