PSU for 2 x GFX 480

Now fed up and given up on OCZ...RMA is taken too long

So thinking of getting a Corsair HX 1000W ATX Modular SLI Compliant Power Supply (CMPSU-1000HXUK), and wanted to know what people throught of them.

My OCZ has there famous screaming when under high GFX load, so dont want to have that again.

yes you need 1K watts.

To be honest a 750 corsair works flawlessly, most people like to opt for the 850 model however. You don't need a 1000w+ supply for 2 480s.

I use a Coolermaster Realpower 1250w but that is only because I used to have tri SLI!

That PSU calculator is crap...No way of saying i have 2 x 480 in SLI...
850Watt PSU (temp) is too low, so need 1KW...

I wouldn't say it's crap but they could perhaps include an option for multiple GPU's probably yeah.

The antec one seems to agree with corsair - for my system anyway.
