My mrs wouldn't stop me getting what I wanted, but she would probably be a bit annoyed if I spent more than her car is worth on a GPU without mentioning it at least lol.

Can only assume that you are not married - rule is (but only in those relationships where the husband, incorrectly, thinks he is the master) from the other half's perspective is ' what's yours is ours and what's mine is mine own':p;)
