Hello.

I have noticed 8800GTX cards are down in price to as little as £60 sometimes (second hand ebay) so for that money im thinking of adding a 3rd to my system to see me through anouther year or so b4 i upgrade the cards.

The trouble is i cant find a power pack with the needed SIX pcie power cables :S

Sugestions?

present psu i am very happy with - (gigabyte 750w) but again, only 4 powers :'(

hey dnt mean to burst your bubble but ive just seen ur post in "desk and room thread" and you same to be using small screen 19"? from my own reseach they seems little point in having sli at that res let alone 3 way sli. But I could be wrong. To answer your question tho 8800gtx needs loads of power so for 3 way i would be looking at 1kw supply imo but im sure some one with bit more know how will point you in the right direction.

Thanks for the reply,

The other 2 monitors in the pick run at 2048x1536@60hz and what you cant see is the 40" lcd (1080p) in the lounge that i patch blu ray movies and games to.

So back to topic at hand, can anyone can anyone recomend a power pack that has 6xpower conectors and enough power to do this please?

I posted in the pre order thread but was advised to use a 750w corsair psu with only the 4 conectors (prety much the same as the 750w gigabyte one i have already)

I'm not sure if there is any psu's with 6 dedicated 6pin connectors. What you'll probaly have to do is get a couple of molex to 6 pin converters.
