PSU for 4870

I have an OcUK Huntkey 550W PSU.. This does actually have two 6pin connectors which the 4870 needs. Would this be powerful enough for it (amps and whatnot)?

I noticed though that both the 6pin connectors are on the same wire.. is this normal? I just would have imagined it being better if it was like, two 6 pin connectors coming from different rails. Anyone know?
