Hi all

I'm about to order a new sys and was wondering if my current antec 550w psu is enough to power it.

i7 920 cpu , a 5850 & 2x 1tb hdds

I also plan to o/c the cpu to 3.6 -4ghz (if achievable) & 10% on the vga.

So will a 550w psu suffice (with o/c) ?

And one more question, I'll be going for xfire when i can afford another 5850, what psu will i need to have to power it up by then.

Absolutely no problem with a 5850 + that system using that PSU.

When you want to add a second, you may want to look to a corsair 650-750W PSU. The 750W isn't exactly required, but the HX 750W model is super efficient and generally awesome.

Ive got a Seasonic 500W with

SPECIFICATIONS: Seasonic S12-500
AC Input 100-240V ~7A 50/60 Hz
DC Output +3.3V +5V +12V1 +12V2 -12V +5VSB
Maximum Output Current 30A 30A 17A 16A 0.8A 2.0A
Maximum Combined 180W 396W 9.6W 10W
500W

Will thise be fine for a Quadcore system with the 5850?
