been trying to get a 5900x for months, ended up getting a 5950x since it was in stock, is 750w enough or do i need to upgrade?

Will be running it with a 3080

Are you going to overclock anything?

I have the RM750X with my 5800X/3090FE, everything is happy(stock) it peaks about 625W at the wall.

tbh with a 5950X PBO, you might be better with the RM850

I say that table is nonsense. I’m running a RTX 3080 and a 5950x along with 32GB ram, 9 fans, an NVME, a SATA SSD and a mechanical hard disk of a Superflower Leadex III Gold 650W with no issues at all. They need to take into account cheap nasty PSU’s that some people buy, the sort of thing that’s way less than even £1 per 10W of power.

Interesting, we’ll see how it runs when I get it but this comment sounds promising
