PSU for a 1950pro card?

I have a akasa paxpower 400 true watt psu. Will it be enough cos this psu cost me 45 quid ish about jan/feb this year and for me i got it so i had a good quality psu and it would last for awhile i.e more than a year or two. As for me 45 quid on a psu is extremily expensive. So with luck i will hopefully hear a ati 1950pro wont need any more than a 400w psu.
 
Well ill explain a bit my system and intentions.

amd 64 3500+ venice stock
asus a8v deluxe rev 2.0 (agp mb)
asus v9999 GE (6800 256mb card)
audigy 2 zs
2gb geil value ram ddr400

Now the pci-e versions of the 1950pro are 135 ish from ocuk. Now it may not be the fault of ocuk but their agp equivelent is about 158 quid. So it is my intention to just buy a cheap 20-30 quid mb that has pci-e 16x slot. That way i think it works out cheaper than getting the agp version and also the mb will be more future proof.

Now by all accounts i believe its known the 1950pro is a hell of a card and is cheap (pci-e version anyhow). And i supose i havent looked for alternatives but i think nvidia equivelent is more expensive.

The 1950pro is about 50-80% better than the 6800 i currently have. At least it better be.

The cpu i have is good enough i believe. I maybe should have sold it just before am2 cpus came out but well i missed the boat. But it is fast enough i think and when i move to a 64bit os it will help even more.
 
Hmm supose ** right. Erm does anyone know a good time to get one the agp cards as in if and when sales are on etc. Then i might get it cheaper than 158ish.

Does ocuk do january and febuary sales?
 
Still considered to be a high end card tho yeah. I mean 600 core and 1400 ram is very high and not many cards cept new 8800 series goes more than these figures yeah?

Only thing i can think of why its cheap is because of the 8 pixel pipelines compared to say my 6800 card 12 or other cards higher pipeline amounts.

I mean its the best card you card you can get for agp sub 155 quid (ish) yeah?
