Just upgrading my old system to a Intel 12700K + MSI PRO Z690-A DDR4 and noticed that the Motherboard has two CPU_PWR connectors.

My existing PSU (Coolermaster SilentPro 600W) has only got 1 x 8 pin CPU power connector, will this be enough or is it time for another PSU ?

Running 1 EPS connector should be fine. Connect it to the first connector which on my Tomahawk is the left-hand one, check its the same on your Pro. You'll only really need the 2 EPS connectors if you are extreme overclocking.

I connected both on my mobo just because my PSU had 2x EPS connectors so thought I may as well.

Thanks for that, got it all connected & it seems to be fine (so far ;) )

Even though it's currently working, I'd definitely look to upgrade that PSU soonish, it's only an 80 plus white and is only 480W where it counts (on the 12V rail).
