PSU for Bitfenix Prodigy

Can anyone recommend a good PSU for this case. From what ive been reading there isn't a whole lot of space for a PSU some saying 140mm is a good size. any recommendations for a 650-750W PSU that will fit nicely ?

Cosair AX series. I think even their 850W will fit. Look up TTL testing that case on youtube.

Meh.

I'd rather use a Coolermaster Silent Pro 700W. Should have more than enough power for anything you plan on putting in that case. It's also smaller (150mm).

I have a 160mm one to go in mine.. it /should/ fit as it has 180mm of space so 20mm for the extra cables should be ok

Right cheers for the replys, anyone know if you can fit a fan controller in if your running a h100 not sure how much room uve got exactly left.

I am having some difficulty finding a 850w modular PSU to support the Radeon 7990 when it comes out this week that I plan on installing in my Prodigy...

Depending on the manufacturer and the card in question does not exceed 330mm, then it will fit, but obviously the hdd cage will need to be removed.
A 700w will be enough to power the 7990.

I was actually reffering to the number of PCI slots used lol. Seeing as how the 7990 is a dual card does it not need 2 x 16 PCI-E lanes or is still a single lane card?

Only requires 1 PCIE slot but requires 3 expansion slots, seems the Prodigy only has 2.

As long as it's 160mm max, it'll fit. The usual options are Corsair AX750, AX850, AX760, AX860, Seasonic equivalents.

Dunno about the card fitting the prodigy. Some cards take up two PCIE slots but are actually 2.5 / 3 slot high with a big heatsink eating up the space.
