Some advice needed, building new setup:
C2D E6600
Giga DS4
Geil 2x1gb
1 x 250gb sata
TT armor JR case
and my x800GTO PCI-e (from old setup, will upgrade in few months)

I have a £50 PSU budget, what should i go for, it has to have cable sleeving and preferably blue fan.

At the moment its between the OCZ Modstream 450W: but im a little concerned about it fitting into my case
and the Aspire Chameleon 550W: is it definatly compatible?

Some help and answers to these questions would be much appreciated ;)

Nah, I can't think of many setups that'll need over 600W..?

Personally, I would take 480W as minimum but try to go for 500w+

Aspire looks nice, but is that a reputable brand?

I have a 560w ThermalTake Silent PurePower, the 480w version is about £50.

Welcome to the forums, I haven't heard anything about Aspire so on the basis that they haven't yet proven themselves I'd probably advise you to steer clear, particularly as you have quite a limited budget so can't afford to be messing around with potential RMAs etc.

I'd consider an Akasa 460w, a Seasonic 430w(which is one of the highest quality PSUs you will find for the price) or an FSP 500w if you can stretch to £60. Any of them will be easily capable. :)

Thanks for the help guys, i was also slightly uncertain about the Aspire brand so did some research into reviews on the psu and they were all very good.
However i think I'm probably going to go for the Akasa 460w waster mentioned, ticks all the boxes and previous akasa products ive had have been great.
