Looking to upgrade my GFX card so I will need to go with a new PSU (I have a Seasonic S12 600W at the moment and it's been solid as a rock) I won't be going SLI,so what would you folks suggest

Whats your price range ? properly high considering the gfx card :P
Ninja

If I do upgrade I'd get a good one, cost isn't an issue, I just don't want to go over the top with the spec (although longevity is no bad thing).

If you don't have lot overclocked CPU
that Seasonic would do it.

Would be nice if I didn't have to upgrade the psu. My Q6600 is clocked to 3.4Ghz. The Seasonic only has 36 combined on the 12v rail?

Yes you are going that way... 295 isn't single card but SLI in one physical package.

So I am :D

That Seasonic M12D is a nice PSU slightly pricey though. i would probably go for the Zalman HP-850 that Darkninja462 recommended if it was a personal choice =]

I would've thought the existing PSU is enough for that card. I'd try it 1st before buying a new PSU.

Even with only 36 on the 12 v rail? But yes I suppose trying it first might save me a few squid. Does the BFG 295 come with 6 pin to 8 pin adapters? My psu only has 2 6 pins:) Thanks for the input guys appreciated.

Using 150W would leave space for overvolting to around 1.4V, card draws around 215W and other components are drawing power as much or more from lower voltages than 12V so it shouldn't exceed that.
Also that Seasonic is UL Level 6 device so it doesn't matter from what wires you're drawing 12V power when using adapters.

So my PSU should run a GTX295 no probs then? ;) That's great thanks for the help EsaT:)
