Just like the title says, need a PSU for a Haswell build. It's a pretty simple setup nothing too demanding. Only asking because I'm not sure if all the PSU's are compatible with Haswell..

i5 4670k
Gigabyte Z87-HD3
8gb ram
GT640 (Will be upgraded into a better graphic card down the road.)
SSD
HDD
Optical drive

Budget about £50-65

Think I'll got for that XFX 650 right on budget. Any thoughts on the Corsair GS 600?

Personally, I think the top end Corsair PSU's are better than the cheaper. The cheaper ones tend to develop early faults inc, coil whine.

The XFX is top notch, they are made by Seasonic.

Will go for the XFX then, hopefully being non modular won't cause issues inside a Corsair 300R.

OCUK has a separate menu item in the PSU options for Haswell compatible PSUs.

I did see that, was just wondering if there was any other cheaper or lower W psu's available that are compatible. Stuff like XFX 550w and Corsair CX500M or CX600M. But I'm gonna stick on the safe side and go with the above XFX :p

*sorry to hijack your thread btw :) *

I see the comments on Seasonic and Corsair, but what of the Silverstone Striders, are they not as good as, or less reliable ?
