I have now HIPER M 580W
Which was great with HD4870!

after gtx280, it feels like it "can't feed 280"
Wile gameplay, it makes squealing sound, i thought it's card as most of gtx200 series makes, but it is Psu!

Something like the Corsair HX 520W modular will do that perfectly fine. Although the Corsair TX 650W non-modular is on offer at this current time and slightly cheaper.

my Corsair 620w PSU has served me well, very well indeed.

If I run the ASUS PSU configurator that tells you the wattage required for the components in your rig, it reckons I need AT LEAST a 750w PSU, my Corsair 620w is running fine!

Corsair VX450 is well enough for that. (peak draw 250-270W)

Peak draw of your PC is probably somewhere around 350W.
Asus has couple ****** PSUs so no wonder if they have to exaggerate requirements.
From now on try to remember that this is only calculator giving consistently realistic values:

well a quick run on that PSU configurator told me 454 w , but i couldn't select my stuff as precise as i'd like.

Either way i'm beginging to think anything asus make/supply is a load of rubbish.
