I'm looking at the different PSUs and am getting more confused about which one to get. :)

New Build:
Asus P5W DH Deluxe WiFi (Socket 775) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard (MB-152-AS)
Intel Core 2 DUO E6400 "LGA775 Allendale" 2.13GHz (1066FSB) - Retail (CP-127-IN)
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 HZ PC2-6400 (2x1GB) CAS4 Dual Channel Kit (F2-6400PHU2-2GBHZ) (MY-013-GS)
Arctic Cooling Freezer 7 Pro CPU Cooler (Socket 775) (HS-017-AR)
Connect3D ATI Radeon X1900 XT 256MB GDDR3 AVIVO TV-Out/Dual DVI (PCI-Express) - Retail (GX-053-CO)
LG GSA-H10NBAL 16x16 DVD±RW Dual Layer ReWriter (Black) - OEM (CD-045-LG)
Seagate Barracuda 7200.10 250GB ST3250620AS SATA-II 16MB Cache - OEM (HD-079-SE)

not sure what I would need  I have been looking at the 460w/500w ones atm, but not sure if that's a bit overkill?

was looking at:
Akasa Ultra Quiet 460W Paxpower Active PFC ATX2.0 PSU - Black Nickel with Blue LED Fan (CA-004-AK)
Akasa AK-P050FG8-BKUK 500W Green Power 80+ (CA-019-AK)
Hiper HPU-4K580-MK Type R 580W Modular ATX2.2 PSU - Black UV (CA-005-HP)
Tagan TG480-U01 480W ATX2.0 SLi Compliant Silent PSU (CA-000-TG)

So many choices :)

Tagan would be my choice out of those, not that the others won't do a good job but I'd rate it as the best of the selection. If you want to free up a bit more cash you might also look at the Geil PC6400 on This Week Only although it will be changing at some point today(if it hasn't already).

Seasonic s-12 500w would be perfect. Not modular though. Go for the m-12 if you have the cash.

The OCZ ModStream 520w ATX2.2 Power Supply (CA-017-OC) is pretty good aswell.

Tbh all the tagan, seasonic, fsp, enermax, ocz are good. Just choose one you like and is in your budget. I would go for at least 500w though, to future proof it if nothing else.

I think the Tagan looks about the best for the price :) as long as it's good enough for the system.

Spec comes to £900  not added a monitor yet either.

Looking good.

Are you going to be overclocking? I would be tempted to go for the e6300, you would save some cash and it clocks very well.

I would also swap the ram for the geil ultra 6400.

Yep, forget the E6400 and spend the money elsewhere. My E6300 is at 3.5ghz atm :D

I seriously reccomend the corsair HX 520W PUS. I love mine, has x3 12V rails, very quiet, and just all round sexyness :p
