Spec:
CPU: 7800x3d
GPU: 4070s
MB: Asus Strix 650e-e
RAM: DDR5 6000mhz cl30 Corsair or GSkill
Storage: 2x gen4 nvme drive
Case: will probably be the Fractal Torrent (comes with 2x 180mm and 3x140mm fans)

so around 530w max load... was looking to go with 1000w psu https://www.overclockers.co.uk/seas...w-80-gold-modular-power-supply-ca-08l-ss.html
but I am tempted go for this instead https://www.overclockers.co.uk/be-q...-platinum-atx-3.0-power-supply-ca-155-bq.html (from a different supplier for £149)

850w should be more than enough, but 1000w perhaps does allow for future upgrades if cpu/gpu power usage increases...

What did you go with in the end? - looks very similar to a build I'm planning and had also decided 1000w for future proofing. Seasonic Vertex GX was tempting me or Corsair RMx. Got put off the RMe due to lots of reported issues on noise.

I’ve not purchased anything atm, was waiting for the reviews of the amd 9000 series cpu’s

Either of the psu’s that I posted will be fine tbf.
