Hi,

My 8800GTX has just fried (video ram) so I'm looking at getting a GTX 260 216.

My system is as follows:

EVGA 680i
E6600
4GB PC2-8500
2x HDD
2x Optical

Power supply: Tagan TG580-U15 580W supply, 35A available combined.

It used to run my 8800GTX fine but is this too much for it with the new card? I keep seeing 36-40A requirement. Will this be an issue - I really dont want to shell out on a new supply just because of this unexpected upgrade .

Help!

Oh and heres an image of the specs:

You may notice 20A on split but combined cuts 5A - apparenlty to keep supply stable under high load.

The link you provided doesn't work. Eitherway I am sure that Tagan 580W will power that rig easily.
