PSU for P67 board

I have one of those as a test PSU for systems I don't care about that much. I wouldn't let it near any new kit like that.

I would suggest you get a better quality unit - I've had my current PSU over 3 years and it certainly was worth the investment, although it was pricey. What's your full system specification?

I'm not trying to come across as though my kit is amazing and you should buy amazing stuff like me etc.. just it's my advice based on many years repairing and building machines. Cheap PSUs are a false economy. Sorry if that wasn't the answer you wanted!

However, it should have the correct connectors :)

I have no idea if it's a good brand or not, but even at an optimistic 550W, will that be plenty of output for a P67/2500K, few drives and something like a 6850 ?

edit: just seen the above post

I didn't think it was *that* bad a psu though ;)

I like this one more, not modular though.

In truth, even the £50 Bequiet is good enough. The 400W Corsair would probably do the job too but wouldn't leave that much to spare.
