I am currently putting the finishing touches to some servers, the last part being the PSU.

Server SPEC

Server type 1
Tyan Tomcat S8277
AMD 265CPU x 2
4Gb of Memory
Geforce 6200TC
4 x 250Gb Seagate 7200.10

Server type 2
Supermicro H8DCE
AMD 265CPU x 2
4Gb of Memory
Geforce 6200TC
4 x 250Gb Seagate 7200.10

These will later have added a Highpoint RocketRaid 2320 SATA Adaptor and a total of 8 Hard Drives at a later date.

At the moment I have narrowed the PSU down to 2 based upon reviews, however I am looking for real world users.

The Corsair HX 520 or the Coolermaster iGreen Power 500W, does anyone have any comments regarding these two PSU's. I am not going to be clocking these, reliability/efficency is the name of the game. They are going to be servers running Win2K3, Exchange, ISA etc.

I am particulary interested if anyone has used these PSU's on boards requiring EPS PSU.

Many Thanks

Mike.

the igreen psu's from coolermaster are very good, iv read good reviews about them and thier efficiency is excellent, as well as thier price. if i was in the need of a new psu i would use the coolermaster igreen ones.

i believe the coolermaster igreens are incredibly efficient from what I remember. I'm not sure on the corsairs efficiency, but the corsairs are very reliable and offer an excellent warranty.

To be honest, I'd say it 50/50 and personal preference would probably prevail :)
