Hi. I currently have an EVGA GQ 750W 80+ Gold. I might be getting a 3080 soon and it is a triple 8-pin card. Now I have been using 2 separate 8-pin cables for my old 2080ti which is fine, but of course I will need 1 more moving forward. I have an extra 8-pin cable that splits into 2 8-pin that I can use, however I am not sure if that is very safe since it is still an 8-pin cable going to the PSU. Do you guys think using 1 8-pin and 1 8+8 cable should be fine? I was thinking of changing PSUs but I bought mine only 3 years ago. Thanks.

**** I just had a look and it looks like I have more slots on the PSU, I thought I only had 2 :/ Now I need to find a cable that works with it.
