PSU for two 7970s?

Great :) Found a review just there on Guru3d that said 750W min required. Do I need to be worrying about the amps my PSU can output or am I good to go?

when making recommendations guru3d must take into account all psus cheap and top end for example

http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-057-OC&tool=5
and
http://www.overclockers.co.uk/showproduct.php?prodid=CA-054-OP&groupid=701&catid=123&subcat=1709

ignoring that one is 750 and one is 700 for arguments sake we can call them rated the same

The ocuk one has 2 12v rails each running at 22 amps or 528watts plus another 217 on the 5 and 3v rails for a total 745w however lets be honest how many 5v items do you run? does anything even use the 5v rail anymore? couple ov usb devices, maybe a sound card or floppy drive? Most stuff is 12v now

But compare that to the ocz thats got a 54amp 12v rail for 648 watts where you need them and 100 watts available for your hard drives

Now both are 750 watt psus both are 80+ rated and both will do a good job of running an average system, but which is more likely to run high end sli or xfire system? My money would be on the ocuk one struggling due to its much lower rated 12v rail

As a note: this wasnt posted as anything against or for either psus it was just to point out the wide difference in psus and thus why sites have to be careful how and what rating recomendations they give out
