Ive heard that this card requires 30A on the 12v rails (whatever that means).

I was planning on getting the Akasa Ultraquiet Paxpower 460w PSU, but noticed that the specs are 15A on 12V1 and 14A on 12V2.

are these compatible or is the PSU not upto it, and if not whats a good PSU (quiet preferred) for an antec p180?

I'm using the PSU you are looking at (Akasa UltraQuiet Paxpower 2.0 460W with blue LED), runs X1900XT 512MB OC'ed to XT-X and beyond perfectly fine with my rig. Easily good enough, it's a solid PSU.
