A mate's PC is playing up, basically every time he starts playing a game it runs for a few seconds then dies - says it's like a switch which we think is the PSU tripping out.
It's apparently fine when doing normal stuff or watching movies.
Any ideas as to how we could test it? Or other suggestions as to what it could be?
Spec is
Motherboard : ASRock K10N780SLIX3-WiFi
Amd phenom 9850 quad core 2.5ghz
8Gb of ram
Nvidia geforce gtx 285 1024mb
The PSU is apparently an EZCOOL HI-POTED N.2800028555 (?)
The gfx card has literally been bought this week.
I know next to nothing about PCs but that PSU looks a bit poo to me?
