PSU gizmo?

Hi,

I want to run 4 fans and a fan controller off an ATX PSU without it being plugged into a mainboard. In the past I have used a paper clip to get the PSU to run up but I remember reading here that you can also plug in some sort of adapter that does the same job but is a bit more safe

Also whilst i'm typing I might aswell ask, if I get a fan controller with temp sensors, will they work without being plugged into a mainboard?

I'm basically wiring up some cooling into a custom project that wont require a PC mainboard.

Do OCUK stock them?
Is there a better way to go about this?

Save your your money - Just run a cable from the green pin to any black pin.. Should be fine.
