PSU go Boom

I'm running off an OCZ StealthXStream 2 700W.

Plenty of power, almost silent.

Good spend of £70.

Hopefully your Seasonic will be as good as your old one!
 
Better be sadly the online retailer has taken liberties. How can they offer guaranteed next day delivery when their delivery service (city link) is on holiday until the 29th is beyond me.
I think at best i'll get it Friday .... fingers crossed.
 
Thought i would update everyone on my post from Boxing Day.

It's been a long week but finally the new PSU arrived on Friday.
I got it all wired in and fired it up and to my relief everything worked, so thankfully when the psu did blow it didn't take out any other components (phew)

So i have the seasonic X-650 in now with just the cables i require (loving the modular deign) and it's silent, can't hear a thing.
Granted i've not fired battlefield up yet but my graphics card fan would probably drown out any fan noise from the psu :)

So thanks to everyone for their hints, tips and general advice, it really was most appreciated.
