PSU going ?

I have an XFX 850X PSU ...AND ABOUT 10 minutes ago i heard ...tap tap tap.....tap tap tap ....tap tap tap , ive not had it but a few months

Sure it is not someone at the front door?

or failing that check for cables that may have dropped onto a fan,inside the pc etc

the PSU fan faces down ....i was thinking maybe its pertly being affected by the heat...its like the Tropics here today .

I've never heard it before......and it's now not doing it at all..although i have taken the side door off
