PSU good enough for my GTX 660 SC

I have a GTX 660 SuperClocked Edition.

I'am going to buy the Corsair 500w Bronze edition PSU.

Is this good enough or shall I buy the 600w Corsair PSU.

It's more than enough with the 500w.. a good 450w would also do it fine.

You really need to post your system specs, then we can give a good answer, and advise where it is needed.

Even a decent 450w is enough to run a GTX 680 + overclocked i5/i7 to 4GHz+, you're good to go.

With an intel cpu such as an i5 3570k even a 300w psu would be more than enough for a gtx 660 so you are fine. (I had both of these and measured max total system power usage of 180w)

The problem is there is hardly no high quality 300w so you have to get a higher wattage. You would be perfectly fine with the corsair cx430 instead.

CPU: i3 550 (not overclocked or anything)
RAM: 4GB (Nothing special)
I have a 1tb Western Digital HDD
and 1 CD/DVD disc drive

Oh and a quick update, going to buy the Corsair CX600w PSU, should be enough according to what you guys have been saying!

Bought the PSU, arrived today, Runs cool and quiet! Couldn't of bought a better PSU in my opinion! Thanks for all of your support guys!

600w is way more than required for your system but at least it will allow you to add another card ( could even handle 3 except the 660 doesn't support tri sli )
