PSU good enough to power a 3070 GPU?

Would say it would be borderline - im not familiar with the PSU, however I was consdiering the same with my 700W corsair (turns out its a 750 so less concerned).
Chances are will be ok but its likely dependent on the PSU quality and stability.

I use the 650W supply in the NZXT H1 and it's fine for the 3070 - 650 is the recommended power from Nvidia themselves. Like the above poster says, 600W might be borderline.

Thanks for your replies. I imagine if you are splashing out on a nice new GPU you want it running on something decent.
Any recommendations for a PSU in case he asks me. I know it is usually budget dependent as to which. I often hear superflower
being banded around as a good solid brand, Seasonic, Corsair. I imagine a 750-800w to be safe?

I'm running my 3070 and 3600X on a 550W EVGA PSU with no stability issues at all. It's only a 220W card. It doesn't need a mega PSU.

By the time I got this info to him he had already decided to buy a new PSU, hopted for an 850w corsair coming friday. So hoping he should be set now. Probably a little more than he needs but surely not a bad thing.

Thanks for all your input, much appreciated
