Hey all,

Im runnning a core 2 duo rig with a 450w OCZ modstream but have been experiancing a few problems with vista not waking up sometimes and no signal to the moniter. Is this PSU sufficient for the below rig? ive been running it for some time but have just uped the Vcore and put a new GPU cooler in.

e6300 with Ninja
DS3
G.Skill 2GB DDR2 PK PC2-6400
1950 pro with a Zalman VF900 CU
Antec P180 and the big 3 associated fans
two 80 gig satta 2 WD hd's in raid 0
has to dvd rw's and a flopy drive

If the PSU isnt sufficent any suggestions on a suitable upgrade?

Thanks

26A on +12V rail should be plenty. Are you running it overclocked? If you suspect the PSU try disconnect everything but the essential components and see if it helps.

Did it do the same thing in Windows XP?

Never actually used it in XP and yea its oced to 2.8. Temps seem fine 29-34 load, same with GPU.

Its only an intermitant problem so havent tried dissconectin everything but shall give it a go.

Yes it's worth it a decent 500W with 30A+ on the +12V rail should do the trick for both GTS or GTX, although higher wattage never hurt. The Enermax noisetaker 535W or the Corsair HX520/620 depends how much you want to spend.
