Hi Guys

Can sombody please tell me if my PSU (Corsair 620W HX Modular PSU) is good enough to run the new system i have just bought below, i would really appreciate your help.

Gigabyte GA-Z77X-UD3H
Intel Core i5 3570K 3.4GHz
2 x Gigabyte GTX 560Ti OC 1GB (SLI)
Samsung 128GB SSD 840
2 x 500gb hdd

Thanks ;)
Phil

I have a 2500k clocked to 4.5Ghz, 16GB Ram 4 drives and a pair of GTX560TI 2GB cards running on a Corsair HX 620W

Even with the cards clocked over 900Mhz it pulls around 500w from the wall socket.

Given the PSU rating is based on output not input, the actual usage will be around 400W which is about a 65% loading in the PSU

HX620 is just fine for a pair of mid range cards

My PSU must be about 4 years only now and this system has been running on it for well over the last year. If you have the supply then use it, if your buying new there may be better units for the money.

Edit

I think the only issue I had was that the cards have 2 x 6pin connector (75W) while the psu has a pair of 6/8 pin (75/150W) connectors so I had to use some molex to PCI-E connectors.
The PSU is designed for 8pin and 8pin - 150+150W just doesn't have the connector flexibility
