hi all my FSP Epsilon PSU has died last night after testing seems the 5V is not working?
im after a new PSU and have about £100 tops to spend im looking at the corsair range as they get really good reviews on here
do i need a bigger supply that 650W as i want to cover myself, and crossfire is my next upgrade in a few months time possibly.

My specs are in my signature i also have:
2 samsung F1s hard disks
5 case Fans
1 fan controller unit that controls 5 fans.

personally if you are thinking of CF and to futureproof yourself ,i would look at the corsair 750W PSU, it is still within your budget and gives that extra headroom incase the next set of graphic cards, cpu etc are even more power hungry

pc power and cooling are supposed to be some of the best powersupplies made.
I think OCZ purchased pc power and cooling but i dont think they make the actual units (more likely the other way arround).

True pc power & cooling make yhe psus, and ocz don't

In factnot all ocz psu's are made by pc power & cooling, they actually still use two other oem makers as well which aren't as good

And yes, consistantly pc power & cooling make some of the best psus you can buy.

well ive ordered the pc power and cooling 750W quad PCIE lets hope its better that my previous FSP PSU which has only lasted 16 months

PSUs are mass produced products so you can never ultimately say how long one sample operates. (and even expensive individually assembled things, like rocket boosters, occasionally fail)
While apparently enough for full output for periods used in reviews heatsinks in FSP Epsilon aren't very convincing looking... Unlike those used by Seasonic, also Seasonic always uses Japanese capacitors except in "cheap" models made for Antec.

PC P&C doesn't make their PSUs.
Silencers appear to be mostly made by Seasonic, 610&750 have exactly same design/PCB as Corsair HX520/620 and Seasonic M12 and S12E+.
Other PC P&Cs are apparently made by Wintact.

hi thanks for quick reply/ would 650W be enough for system and a extra card for crossfire?
TX650 is Seasonic made and probably has 100 extra watts "in reserve" like HX620 and both would have been well enough. (and more quieter than 80mm fanned PSU)

well after reading several reviews it appears the PC power and cooling psu's are extremly good PSU's so im happy with my choice
