would a 1000w psu be ok for this rig
asus p5q deluxe
intel core 2 quad q6600
lg blu ray
lg dvd rw
2x xtx ati hd 4890
3x 500gb hdd
zalman zm mfc3
wireless card
tv tuner card

plus future water cooling
i only ask this because i found one for £40

a 100W PSU for £40 would be good as a doorstop and not much else, you get what you pay for, a quality 750-850W PSU in the £100 range would be much better

As 95thrifles said, go for lower wattage and more expensive.

Is it second hand and if so what is the type and model?
