PSU HELP

I will be running a 3570k clocked to 4.3 and a gtx 670.. How powerful should my PSU be ?

if you're never going to run dual graphics card, 550w is more than sufficient
750w if you intend to sli gtx670

Personally speaking, I have a 750w PSU which is overkill for my rig, but leaves plenty of breathing room for upgrades in the future e.g SLI.

There isn't a thread in hardware that tamzzy hasn't commented on lol

I have an AX650, which is the box deluxe. I must admit though, every once in a while when I forget about petty constraints such as budget, I do wish I could SLi my GTX 670 DirectCU II TOP in which case I'd need to upgrade the PSU. SO if you plan to SLi, get a AX750. I'm not the most knowledgeable around but the would say is that everytime I ask a friend, do a little research on the web, read reviews/roundups or when I've asked about PSU on ocUK in the past, I've always been told/come to the conclusion that Corsair is the way to go.

Like people have said 550w will be fine for that setup and have lots of headroom, as long as your not running ten HDD's anyway

Yeah make sure you get a quality brand of PSU such as Antec, Corsair, XFX etc. Crappy PSU brands such as CIT won't deliver their advertised wattage on a constant basis. Their true continous wattage will be in reality much lower.
