Hey guys!

Just built myself a nice new pc, and apart from the graphics card having to go back (mega mega noise when in a game, then system crash), everything else seems fine - Apart from this damn buzzing noise coming from the PSU. There are no side effects to the buzzing, but Jesus is it annoying. Is this normal? Does it mean the PSU is on its way out or is it just "coil whine" i've heard about.

Using a Corsair CX750.

Yeah its coil whine it can happen I am afraid, I suffer with it on my GPU.

Sounds like coil whine, i get it bad from my 7950 card, its even worse through my turtle beach headset. The solution for hearing the coil whine through my headset was to plug the usb plug into a wall socket rather than plugging it into the computers usb.

i have same power supply and the other day i heard this weird noise- sounds like a generator although not heard this type of noise again, then just yesterday i heard a whining noise. think its the power supply but could be graphics card. added youtube link below, you can hear first noise and seconds noise, seconds noise is when i play battlefield (power supply or graphics card under load-cant tell which).
is this the same noise 'malicht'?
