hi, I've just bought the antec 902 and a Coolermaster PSU. Now as the 902 has no ventilation under where the PSU gets placed there is only just like 2mm height of space where the PSU fan can intake air. I cant place the PSU upside down cos apart from looking ugly, the cables aren't long enough to run them behind the motherboard tray for cable management! should I drill a ventilation hole under the psu??

I know the Antec F.A.Q's say to install the psu with the fan facing up, but if you have to drill holes so the cables reach, then do it neatly so the value of the case isnt destroyed if you ever come to sell it.

try to do a decent job,

lay masking tape on the floor of the case where you want the holes, mark the design, use a center punch if its to be lots of small 3-4mm holes next to each other, then drill pilot holes and finally enlarge to your desired size.

to help ensure you dont deform the shape of the floor metal, sit the case with the floor on top of a lump of wood, this will help with the center punch marking and drilling.

Yeah I'll go with drilling a large 120mm hole if I find the right tool. I'll go round the edge with a rubber sleeve and a filter. I ll use a small drill bit instead of a center punch so to be sure I' ll do no damage. Thanks loads ... hopefully I won't ruin the 2 day old case hehe
