I'm getting a new psu next week it's the Antec TP-750 Blue TruePower New 750W Modular Power Supply, and just wondering before I get the cables set and neatly arranged, should I just connect the psu on my desk first without putting it in the case just incase there's a fault?

Sorry to ask such a silly and simple question, I just want to get it right thats all.

Cheers guys.

Might be wise I guess, but personally I wouldn't have the patience! I tend to install the PSU in the case first and then plug it in via the kettle lead but make sure the socket is switched OFF. This way you have an earth via your socket outlet and your PSU and case to get rid of any static build-up you just need to touch your case every now and again.
