Hi;
Hope you can help. The PSU on my self build PC has died.

The PSU was a SAF (Global WIN) Power Supply SAF 520 Sapphire.

I'm certain I bought it from Overclockers, but no longer available.

I do have a Lian Li case so thought the Lian Li PSU would be a good option. Reading your advice on self build I thought the Lian Li Silent Force 650w Modular Power Supply sounds ideal.

BUT would this be suitable for my motherboard:
MSI MS-6742 ATX Mainboard. This has a ATX1 connector.
Information on the Lian Li website shows the power supply has a ATX2 connector.

Will my main board be compatible with this PSU or do I need a different PSU.

Hope someone can advise.

Much appreciated. Thanks

Mel

The spec is in a document on my harddrive on the dead PC. I don't use it for gaming, but I thought if the PSU burnt out a higher one be better.
