PSU issue, wont power down

Anyone seen this problem before? Shut down the PC and it shuts down fine but then immediately starts up again. Even when then shut down by holding power button it does it, so it doesn't seem to be a software issue.

If I switch it off from the PSU switch, then obviously it turns off. Turn that back on and it stays off until power switch pressed and its back to the same power loop. Machine runs fine when turned on, everything stable - [email protected] etc

I tested it with another PSU (an spare 500W one) and that fixed it - didn't run the whole thing with that PSU just connected MB and graphics card and tested it to bios, and it turned off and stayed off when power button used.

Anyone seen this before? Looks to me like its a PSU fault.

The PSU is a Corsair 850TX and although 3 year old it appears to have a 5 year warrantee. Any hope (or point) in asking for replacement? Of course I will have to buy a new one first to be able to send the old one back, can't be without main PC for too long, I'd have to use that laptop for gaming then! :D

How is your computer connected to the internet, Cabled? May have something to do with boot from LAN enabled in the bios. Is this a new problem or just started happening?

New problem just started happening. Already checked WoL disabled, and disconnected LAN cable just in case. Actually tested disconnecting all external cables and it still does it. Thanks for the suggestion though.
