I have a SuperFlower Golden Green HX 550W "80 Plus Gold" Power Supply.
Due to being in a rush I turned off the Computer at the mains instead of doing a shut down. After a meal out with family I pressed the on switch it wouldn't turn on. I then went to sleep for 4 hours and the Computer turned on without any physical contact.
I'm in the middle of taking the board out to check it for faults and testing the PSU as well.
Would this premature switch off which I did cause any damage to the Graphics Card? I have a MSI R9 280 3GB.
Worth claiming insurance?
