PSU just went pop

Hi all,

Just switched on my PC and my PSU has just gone pop with a rather worryingly loud crack! Nasty smell too ... it was an Antec trupower 480W.

This is the first time this has happened to me - what are the chances of anything else being fried internally by this?

Any suggestions for an alternative PSU would be much appreciated ... I'm running the following:

P4 3.4
Asus P4C800-E Deluxe
Radeon 850XT
2GB memory
Couple of case fans, couple of hard drives

Thanks all for any advice!

Antec = Good proven make = low chance of damage to components. :)

Any psu 350-450w from any of the trusted makes would make a good replacement. Those are: Antec, Enermax, Tagan, FSP, OCZ, Seasonic.

Pick one depending on price, features you require etc. i.e do you need modular cables, does it need to be silent, quiet?
