I've arranged to RMA my PSU which I believed to be causing the crashes I've been experiencing. Since then I've tried a different PSU and I'm still getting the crashes so there's probably nothing wrong with the original PSU.
The only problem with the original PSU is that it makes a clicking/ticking noise when under load. It wasn't that loud and didn't really bother me except that I was worried it was the sign of something wrong.
I searched the problem and a lot of people said it was best to replace it but I also read that it was to do with changing between different voltages.
I'm just wondering if it's worth doing an RMA for just the ticking noise or if that's normal for a PSU under load. I don't mind being without the PSU for a while since I've got another one but I don't want to waste the postage and presumably EVGA will charge me to send it back if they find nothing wrong with it.
