PSU Making Buzzing Sound

I was just playing some TF2 and then I heard like a cracking sound/buzzing sound, put my ear closer to PSU. And its coming out the back, I powered down removed kettle lead and turned off at PSU, made sure everything is slotted in properly, everything was. The only problem is my Optical Drive lead was a struggle to plug in. So I completely unplugged that.

I've just started up. Should I risk it and go back into TF2?

Assuming its not buzzing at desktop? Yeah Id say you should to see if it replicates it or not, how loud a buzzing we talking here?

Audible. Not ear hurting but buzzing annoying (pun intended)

Started again

Could it be a lack of air? Not very much space in this Skeleton for it to breathe :mad:

Edit: took the PSU out of case, an hour worth of TF2. Not a thing, thinking its not enough air to things.

I hate to say it but I think this skeleton is in reconsidiration

Could be 'coil whine', look it up.
Won't damage your psu but can be annoying, you get used to it though.

See if it starts when using your browser/game, and then goes away when you minimise it.

Yeah its that, doesn't help when your next to an open air case.

Do you think if I got my mum to buy me a new case it would be okai?

Love this case, still going to get the use out of it though.

Yup maximise Fraps and it starts, minimise goes.

No point in me RMAing it to Corsair casue they will only turn it dwon for it not being loud enough in one of their cases, they should try it in an open air.

My corsair PSU did this noise, died afer a couple of weeks of sound starting. Got it RMA'd though and new one has no problems.

Ouch, did it take anything with it? If it does the cheque is going Corsairs way.

Mine seems to have stopped now its out of the case, even Prime(Max power consumption and max CPU usage) + Heaven it still don't make it :/ Confused.
