PSU making wierd noises

My psu has started making weird crackling noises when i flip the power switch to turn it on, its all normal after that. I'm guessing its something wrong with the switch itself but the noise is quite disconcerting, is there anything I need to worry about?

It's a OCZ GameXStream 600w psu bought in january so it's still new.

If the PSU is faulty it can kill most if not all your pc.

If your sure its your PSU making the cracking RMA it.

check your psu lead is pushed in fully 1st mate

Its pushed in as far as it will go, it does seem to have a little bit of wiggle room though is that normal?

Don't wiggle it about. All you'll do is knacker the socket.

Mine makes a crackling noise when first plugged in, doesn't worry me. However were it doing it when I pushed the power button I'd be more nervous. Best shout is to join the ocz forums and ask their opionion
