Its upgrade time in the delbuenno house! I have been saving and have around £1000 to build my new system. :D

I will be using the majority of my old system (Case, floppy and optical drives, monitor, keyboard, mouse, x1900xtx vga, Hitachi deskstar 250g HDD, custom water cooling)but will need the following:-

PSU (preferably quiet and efficient +/- modular)
C2D MOBO (as future-proof as possible)
C2D CPU
2x1GB DDR2 RAM

and if there's enough money left over maybe a Raptor for the OS...
....if there's STILL money left over maybe VISTA? ;)

Currently I am looking at :-
PSU - Seasonic M12 Modular 700W Silent ATX2.0 Power Supply ~£150
MOBO - undecided (RD600 or 680i) ~£200
CPU - E6600 ~£215
RAM - Cruicial 10th anniversary. ~£210
Total ~£775

Can ayou guys improve on this? I am open to suggestions. The PC is used for gaming, running emulators, video encoding etc.

Enermax Galaxy 1000W ATX2.2 Modular PSU?
Its been getting good reviews - £235  but its there to be spent!
Total ~£860
