PSU Mounting Question

Hi All

Just a quick question. I only have a query - The case I have mounted the PSU in is made by Antec (1200)- It seems I have to mount the PSU upside down in the bottom of the case. There are some rubber feet for the PSU to sit on. I need to know if it is ok to mount the PSU upside down (fan pointing downwards)

Also, when playing games the PSU gets rather hot - Is this normal?

Regards

Jon

i have the 300, and would always point the fan up towards the top of the case.

Edit:

when i first got this case i had the psu mounted fan down, and i felt the psu getting quite hot, Much better with the psu upside down.

The idea is to have the PSU with the fan facing down. The PSU is designed to cope with expelling it's own heat. Having it facing up is adding extra heat to you system and counteracting the PSU fan.

PSU fans draws air from the case a exhaust the air through the unit and out the back.

Or have I missed the point :p
