whats your views on these or if you can recommend a different one?

Thanks in advanced

750w will be ok with most dual setups, Nvidia 970 & 980 will be ok but if you want dual AMD R9 range then I would look at 850w ~

But in saying that 850w is not that more than the 750w versions :p

Anything by Seasonic or Superflower. Best out there at the moment.

hi guys been having a look and i like the sound of the Corsair HX850i psu what you think if not then ill stay with the seasonic or superflower range?

thanks

Don't bother with the Corsair as it is made by CWT. Corsair got a foothold in the PSU market by using Seasonic. They now use an inferior company but charge the same prices.

Do you know if you can turn off the leds on the superflower as it looks a bit takey in my eyes? I guess if i took it apart but itl void the warrenty.

I bought a new psu not long ago a EVGA SuperNova G2 850 Watt, I believe Superflower makes that also/ Same type of unit.

I recommended either Corsair AX 760 or AX 860 80 Plus Platinum PSU, it come with 7 years warranty.

My PC used Corsair AX 850 80 Plus Gold PSU for 4 years now and still going strong always silence with warm breeze at full load. I would be surprise if my PSU still last longer with my next card MSI GTX 970 and also next memory, CPU and motherboard upgrade to Skylake in 2015 when Corsair warranty expired in 3 years time.
