For a single GTX480, EVGA stats that:

Minimum of a 600 Watt power supply.
(Minimum recommended power supply with +12 Volt current rating of 42 Amps.)
An available 6-pin PCI-E power connector and an available 8 pin PCI-E power connector
I guess your case would be pretty similar as 580 SLI. imo stay away from multi-rail PSUs and get a single rail PSU. I've seen at least 2 users used to have a problem with an HX1000 running 580 SLI.
