Computer died completely last night, no post, nothing, just fans running (talk about a stressful night!!). Thought it was the PSU and luckily i was proved right when i just bought a replacement from PC World.
I had a OCZ 700W ModXstream, system is heavily overclocked with a AMD 965 running at 3.8Ghz, 8 Gig Ram, GTX570 overclocked and overvolted, 3 HDS, many fans.
So anyone with any experience of PSU's able to shed some light on what may have happened. The PSU was 2.5 yrs old. Surely it should have lasted longer? And it i overloaded it surely it wouldnt die completely?
Anyways my PC World 700W OCZ is a stop gap as i want to order something today from OCUK that will last longer and more headroom. Recommendations????
Thanks for your input guys.
