What would happen if i plugged an old 20pin PSU into my 24pin Asus board. Would it work? or could I do damage?
Obviously the 4pin 12V one would also be plugged in.

Cool, so I can stick it in then while my Enermax Liberty 500W is being RMA'd.
Dunno how (cheap) 400W will cope with an X1900XT. I see it needs 2 molex connectors just to power it alone! (using PCI-E convertor)
guess i'll only plug in one of my hdd's and run at stock settings also, that way i don't need my case fans plugged in either. Just the Ninja's one.
Cheers for that Cob

My mates mums computer is an E6300 / Asrock Xfire / 2GB Geil / X1800XT and it's all running on a 350W budget no named PSU. I told her to change it but nooo it works and she knows best...
Just a matter of time before it commits suicide and takes half the machine with it.

Haha, ok well 400W PSU works ok in my main machine, as long as you don't try and play battlefield 2. The whole computer just switches off when you try and blow anything up with C4 or an AT. Hope OCUK don't take too long to RMA my PSU!
